Hello there!

It has been a few weeks since we finished the kid’s bathroom and word on the street is that you guys love it and I’m so thankful for all of your sweet comments and virtual high fives.

We are still loving it too and it is turning out to be one functional little space with all four of us in there in the evening getting the kids through the wash, dried, teeth brushed, hair combed, drink of water, then back again for another drink of water for the little lady who is starting to come up with multiple excuses not to go to bed. (Or maybe she just needs one more peek of the beautiful bathroom 🙂 )

I planned this renovation in my head long before we ever tore anything out, so to say I’m happy that it is not only pleasing to the eye, but really functional is an understatement.

I’ve been getting lots of questions from you lovely folks about where to find all of the different things that went into this renovation, so today I’m going to share the sources of every single little detail in hopes that if you are planning a reno or even a spruce up of your bathroom you can find all of it. How does that sound?

We added a ton of storage with this vanity. It is also taller than our old one, which really udpates the space.

Finding things for a complete renovation takes a lot of research. I chose each item with budget in mind, but that doesn’t always mean the least expensive choice. I had to measure quality against price and keep with the look and feel of the finished result that I had in mind.

I hope this list helps you narrow your choices. Let me know if you have any questions about any of these products!

You did a beautiful job! Especially for not being in the business of remodeling in the first place. The instructions you gave were foolproof. It was a remarkable re-do, Well done. I can’t wait to get started on my own projects…

You made a nice bathroom for children. Great work! I also decided to make a separate bathroom for children. We have an old house. I had a lot of problems with the repair of the room. Since this bathroom was not used for a long time. So I had to replace all the plumbing and pipes. It was also necessary to change the layout of the room. To perform all building work, I turned to professional contractors for help. Did you make repairs yourself or use the services of contractors? Because now companies of contractors are many and choose the right company is very difficult. How better to do overhaul, yourself with the help of friends or hire professional workers? Because I still need to do a lot of building work. I would be grateful if you gave some advice.

Hey Drake, this post discusses for which portions of the bathroom remodel we used the services of a plumber. I think calling in a professional is a very individual decision and comes down to ability, time and cost.
