Want to meet one of my inspirations when it comes to all things crafty? Cause today I’m excited to introduce you to my friend Alexis from Persia Lou. She is one talented lady and I just absolutely love her! We have been long time blogging buds and met in person for the first time this past spring at SNAP. #roomies
So let’s get to it… take it away Alexis!
Hey there! I’m Alexis, the girl behind the craft and DIY blog, Persia Lou. I am so excited to be visiting my friend Corey today to share some of my projects and printables with all of you!
I am always up for a new crafting experiment or DIY challenge, but I also have some favorite mediums that I keep coming back to. One of those favorites is watercolors. For me, nothing is more relaxing than an afternoon playing with my paints and brushes. Since it is one of my favorite creative outlets, it’s probably no surprise that I have lots of watercolor projects and printables posted over on my blog, and I’ve rounded up some favorites to share with you all today!
First, I have a few tutorials to help you create your own works of art. Even if you have never painted with watercolors before, these four projects are totally do-able! You will find step-by-step instructions and photos to help you complete each one. Pick your favorite and get painting!
Or, if you’d like an even easier painting project, try out one of my printable watercoloring pages. Just print out the image on 90 lb watercolor paper, and paint away!
If you don’t want to paint yourself, but still like the look of watercolors, you can download one of my free watercolor prints or some watercolor graphics to make your own designs with.
And finally, watercolors don’t have to be limited to just art! How about a watercolor technique on fabric or wood? Yes please! These other watercolor DIYs are some of my very favorites.
Thanks so much for having me, Corey!
