White Tree Mystery + Treetopia Giveaway

When I was a little girl my grandma had the most fabulous faux white Christmas tree. I remember it so well. Opening presents with all of my cousins.

So of course getting my own white tree was really exciting and it definitely brings back some amazing memories of Christmas.

And if you are in the market for your own tree, you are in luck because Treetopia is hosting a little contest here on Hey There, Home and giving away a $100 gift card to one lucky reader!

More details in a minute, but first let’s take a closer look at this beautiful tree!
Modern white Christmas tree

I had so much fun decorating this with my little girl. We decided to keep the ornaments really simple and go with some really fun jewel tones. But instead of hanging each ball ornament individually, we clumped like colors in groups of 3 and hung them in bunches.

The bunches of 3 definitely make a bigger impact and make it look a bit more fun and interesting.

We did have some left over so we filled in with single ball ornaments and a little bit of bright pink garland.

This bright color scheme definitely makes the room look merry and bright!

I think your tree is beautiful. Before there were artificial trees in white, my uncle would go to the woods and cut a bare hard wood tree with lots of branches. Then he would take fishing line and white cotton batten and cover the tree, a real labor of love. I couldn’t wait to get to Aunt Hazel’s house at Christmas to see this wonderful, magical white Christmas tree, lite with candle lights and the most beautiful shinny balls and tinsel. Thanks for making me remember Christmas past.
