Strawberry Paradise Recipe {Drinks with the Girls}

It’s Friday and in order to get you ready for a proper happy hour this evening I got together with some girlfriends to bring you 8 Summer Cocktail Recipes!  We’re calling this one “drinks with the girls” because when you are done here, you will want to call a friend and get a cocktail hour on the calendar STAT!

Getting together with my girl friends is something that I make time for.  I have a group of friends and on the first Friday of each month we do a dinner out, no kids.  It is something I look forward to because one thing I miss about being younger is all the time I got to spend goofing off with my girl friends.  This summer I plan to have them over for a girls night and these cocktail ideas are going to come in handy for sure!

 And even though it is drinks with the “girls” I consulted the hubs, cause he is always mixing up fun drinks for us.

So we went to “work” and came up with this Strawberry Paradise Cocktail and sat back and enjoyed one (or two) on a warm evening on our almost complete outdoor living room.

We tried this mix with a few different juices and this one was our favorite.  But really any juice with Strawberry in it was a close match.

Strawberry Paradise Recipe

2 parts vodka

2 parts White Cran Strawberry Juice or Strawberry Lemonade (The White Cran was our favorite)

1/4 part sweetened lime juice

square ice cube tray

One of the hubs’ obsessions when he makes cocktails is having these fancy square ice cubes. So for Christmas I put this fun square ice cube tray in his stocking.  I have to admit, it is fun to have special ice cubes and they last so long.  No watery cocktails here!

    Oh my goodness… This sounds and looks delicious. We are finally getting patio weather here, and I’ve been looking for a good, refreshing, as I call it, fizzy! 🙂 Wonder if it would be good as a frozen, blended beverage. Do you think blending the beverage into a frozen type daiquiri would alter the flavor to much?

    1. I think that is a fantastic idea!

  2. This looks so refreshing and perfect for summer Corey!
