DIY spray painted plastic outdoor chairs

These Painted Plastic Outdoor Chairs were one of the first posts I ever did here at TinySidekick and are still a very popular post!  You can read all about how ugly they were before I spray painted them, and they have held up pretty will throughout the year!

stenciled pot via tatertots and jello

Jen at Tatertots & Jello used a stencil (that sticks and resticks even after washing it) to give her pots some personality.  And as long as you use outdoor paint, they will hold up outside!

painted rug via life love larson

You can even paint an outdoor rug to give it any pattern you want!  Check out Life Love Larson for the full details.

tips for perfect planters via making lemonade blog

Plants are not my strong suit, but this year I really want to add some color to my yard with planters.  Carrie from Making Lemonade has some great tips to add color and texture to your planters.

DIY Outdoor Pillow via Chaotically Creative

And finally, so that you have some comfort with your seating, Chaotically Creative made these outdoor pillows from shower curtains that she found at discount stores!  Way cheaper than outdoor fabric.

I’m really looking forward to all the time we get to spend outside at this time of year.  What about you?  Do you spend a lot of time in your outdoor space?  Is there something that makes it perfect?

  1. I really enjoy watching funny videos as well as
others, but it’s so confusing out in cyberspace trying
to remember where I can find everything I like. There is a strong Lithium battery that lasts a very
long time, making it very reliable. Note: Windows Movie Maker needs
external codec to decode mp4, xvid and mpeg2 video.
